Day 6

Subject: Are you falling into this trap, [firstname]?

Hi [firstname],

We've talked about a lot over the past few days, and I'm sure you'll agree it all makes sense. What happens now, though, is a lot of people go: “Well, yeah, but...”

And then they do nothing!

They'll come up with a thousand and one excuses as to why they shouldn't take action now. I'm sure you've heard them: “I'll wait until after payday”; or “I'll do it when we've come back from vacation”; or “Hold on, I'm almost up to the next level in Word of Warcraft” or (the most popular excuse) “I'm too busy. I'll do it tomorrow.”

Well guess what? Tomorrow never comes!

This type of behavior is called “procrastination” and it can ruin your life. There's a very good reason procrastination is called “the thief of time”. If you wait until the time is “right” you'll never do anything. Today was tomorrow yesterday.

The best time to do something is always NOW!

Otherwise, that thing you wanted to do, quickly becomes that thing you wished you'd done. To console yourself you start thinking negative thoughts like: “Oh well, it probably wouldn't have worked anyway. Perhaps it's just as well I didn't try.”

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

Remember what I said about the law of attraction the other day? Like attracts like. Positive attracts positive. Negative attracts negative.

Your goal is just waiting for you to achieve it – but it won't wait forever.

The sooner you start your positive thinking regime, the sooner good things will start to appear in your life.

Warmly,

[Your Name]
